If you are funded

If you get funding — tell everyone!

We don’t just give out funding to everyone that applies. We take great care in making sure that each project will make a positive impact on the people involved and on the wider community.

Once you’ve got your funding, we’ll also need your help in telling everyone about the project, especially during and after your project has been set up.

Some tips on how to big up your project:

Be included on the Help Yourselves website

If you’re awarded ‘here to HELP’ funding, we’d love to see you and your project on the Help Yourselves website. Before you panic, we won't need too much — just a bit of text, some photos or visuals that will help us advertise your great work.

See some example case studies we’ve already done.

Promote your work in the media

Become a celebrity! If you’re up for it, we may ask you to do some work with us for the media. That means your project could appear in local or national newspapers.

If you’re already media savvy and want to handle your own publicity, that’s fine — just let us see any press releases first so we can approve them. We can help by checking you’ve got all your facts right.
